  You may be able to change your MCO if you recently enrolled in TennCare. New enrollees have 45 days to change their MCO. If you move within the state of Tennessee you may need to change your MCO, and can do so, after you change your address with TennCare and the Department of Human Services (DHS). You may also change MCOs so as to have all your family members on the same MCO. To change your MCO for any other reason you will want to call the TennCare Solutions Unit 1-800-878-3192 who will be able to answer your questions about changing your MCO. If you have urgent medical needs and must change your MCO, you may also call the TennCare Advocacy program 1-800-722-7474.
